Esta semana os muestro algunas de las aves que pudimos ver en dos viajes realizados al Parque Nacional de Monfragüe.

This week I show you some of the Birds that we could see in two trips made to the Monfrague National Park.

El primer viaje fue a finales de enero y la niebla no despejó hasta las dos de la tarde mientras que en el segundo, a finales de febrero, hizo un día muy bueno.

The first trip was at the end of January and the fog did not clear until two in the afternoon while in the second, at the end of February, it was a very good day.

Garceta grande (Egretta alba).

Great White Egret.

Petirrojo europeo (Erithacus rubecula).

European Robin.

Vimos muchos y algunos muy confiados.

We saw many and some of them very tame.

Pinzón vulgar (Fringilla coelebs) macho.

Male of Common Chaffinch.

Hembra.

Female.

Carbonero común (Parus major).

Great Tit.

Águila imperial ibérica (Aquila adalberti).

Spanish Imperial Eagle.

Estuvo hostigando a un buitre negro (Aegypius monachus).

It was harassing to a Black Vulture.

Había muchos cormoranes grandes (Phalacrocorax carbo).

There were many Great Cormorants.

En el segundo viaje ya había algunos narcisos silvestres.

On the second trip there were already some Wild Daffodils.

También vimos algunos ciervos comunes (Cervus elaphus).

We also saw several Red Deer.

Garza real (Ardea cinerea).

Grey Heron.

Había muchas currucas capirotadas (Sylvia atricapilla). En la foto un macho.

There were many Blackcaps. Pictured a male.

En el segundo viaje vimos un bando de ánsares comunes (Anser anser) en paso migratorio.

On the second trip we saw a flock of Greylag Geese on migration.

Verderón común (Carduelis chloris).

Greenfinch. 

También durante el segundo viaje vimos tres alimoches comunes (Neophron percnopterus).

Also during the second trip we saw three Egyptian Vultures.

Inmaduro de águila real (Aquila chrysaetos).

Immature of Golden Eagle.

Nutria europea (Lutra lutra).

European Otter.

Buitre negro (Aegypius monachus).

Black Vulture.

Buitre leonado (Gyps fulvus).

Griffon Vulture.

Igual que los aviones modernos que llevan los extremos de las alas hacia arriba.

Like modern aircraft that have the ends of the wings up (winglets).

Majestuoso vuelo.

Majestic flight.
